Alternative Dispute Resolution

THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AS OF JULY 1, 2009, FOR MEDIATION HELP CONTACT OC HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION (HRC) AT 714/567-5081

Using funds provided by the Dispute Resolution Programs Act (DRPA), the Fair Housing Council of Orange County provides mediation services to a wide range of individuals with housing-related and neighbor-to-neighbor disputes. Our trained mediators provide an alternative to using the court system for resolution of disputes and offer services in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Our mediators are trained professionals and certified through the state’s DRPA program. Volunteer mediators are always in high demand and the training program offers a great opportunity for individuals to learn effective problem solving skills and get involved. Those interested in becoming a volunteer mediator can contact our Mediation Program Director at 714/569-0823 x203.
